Homemade Lolly Slice: A Kiwi Classic but with Only 5 ingredients!
Found at most birthday parties across Aotearoa, this lolly cake is made even easier with only 5 ingredients. Don’t worry, it make be skimping on ingredients but not in the flavour! Have a go and enjoy the timeless taste.

Ingredients:
120 grams of butter, melted
½ cup sweetened condensed milk
1 packet malt biscuits, crushed
1 packet of Fruit Puffs or Explorers, chopped
¼ cup coconut
Instructions:
- Line an 8 inch baking pan with baking paper.
- In a microwave safe bowl, melt the butter and sweetened condensed milk together.
- Add in crushed biscuits and lollies and mixed together.
- Put mixture into the pan and spread across to cover the whole pan.
- Press mixture down to make sure it is compact.
- Sprinkle coconut over the top.
- Refrigerate for 2 hours.
- Cut into slices and enjoy!
Notes:
- Instead of refrigerating, you can store in the freezer for 20 minutes and then cut and serve.
